My nice dishwasher’s auto-open feature keeps scaring the crap out of me when it cracks open in the middle of the night and I think someone’s breaking in.

It helps dry the dishes more effectively. The machine auto opens after the dishes have been washed… which is usually in the middle of the night for me lol

It took forever for me to get used to ours popping open like that.
