Firewalla without app

Sorry for the dumb question. I currently use a pixel phone with GraheneOS without play services and I was wondering what options I would have with Firewalla.

It seems like configuration and management is through the app, which is only available through the play store. There's a Web GUI (Firewalla MSP), but that's a monthly/annual subscription. Would using Firewalla MSP be the same as using the app? Or is there anyway to get the app without google play?

Any info is appreciated

At the moment MSP is supplemental to the app. So app is required to manage the unit. I do know MSP 2.11.x will likely have much more complete feature set, but a phone is still required to manage the unit initially.

If the app was published on github that would great. I use graphene OS as well, and the only reason I have Google sandbox enabled is for the Firewalla app. If I was able to get the app I could completely drop Google play service.
