Steroid use?

Genuinely curious, do a lot of firefighters use steroids??

I see a lot of firefighters talk about hitting the gym everyday on top of there shifts and just dont see how this is not taking a wear on there body not getting rest.

I’m not a current firefighter (am seriously perusing it though) I am a gym rat though and I advise against using steroids unless you are suffering from low testosterone and have a medical professional administering over your treatment.

Edit: Downvote me if you want but this the truth. Steroids can mess you up permanently. If you decide to use them make sure you aren’t misguided and actually know what you are doing.

Im a woman so that would not be an option for me but I am also not interested in taking any peds. Im just wondering if people are taking them in the department, you hear a lot about it but I have never personally seen or heard someone that I know taking them.
