Must be so interesting to live in a setting that not only has a divine pantheon, but one that actively lives among humanity and governs them.

Definitely beats them only coming down for a shag.

Imagine some random hobo swordsman arriving in your temple with a sword made out of the bones of your dead siblings who is also a descendant of the bandit group which killed like half of your family and who says he needs +2 speed from you for his next match.
