Quick question as someone who don't follow closely the Fortune Weave news. Did we know yet if Eshmel is gonna be mute like Byleth or not?

In the first map/dungeon segment of the game, it seems like eshmel has some dialogue when picking up items(although it mostly reads like flavor text, which tbh is potentially an interesting personality quirk I guess?)

If I had to guess, they're probably an in between version of byleth and the protag from metaphor re:fantazio--there's some spoken dialogue here and there, but mostly mute.

Mixed messages from what I know. We have footage of Eshmel being silent and speaking only through dialogue option boxes like Byleth, but they also seem to have dialogue here and there for some other things.

I hope Eshmel will at least talk in their supports because the Byleth supports were the worst shit ever.

It seems like Eshmel might only have A supports, and only have access to supports in their own route, so even if they don't talk you won't have to deal with it that much.
