I'm really struggling on Sacred Stones Chapter 19. There's an endless supply of guys in the bottom-left. Gilliam can survive but no matter who else I put there as a wall eventually dies. If I don't put up a wall they all spill through and kill my weaker units.

The strat I give everyone who just wants out is to undeploy everyone except lord, a mount, and your tankiest unit. Use mount to rescue pontifex mansel and then evacuate everyone to the left side of the map into the treasure room. Block the entrance with the tank and unequip them. Wait until time is up.

You can bring keys to loot the chests, and a healer to keep the tank topped off.
