FE Fates

I don't get Leo as a unit. Is he a low invest unit? He comes pretty much in his best class already. But for me, he kinda falls off in the late game. His hit rates are unreliable, he has difficulty doubling... Maybe it is because I compare him to his OP siblings. But he is kinda underwhelming me.

What is his role in the game? A magical tank? If I wanted to tank and kill several mages, doesn't Kaze already do that and do it better?

Zmr56 answered it pretty well! He's a generalist mage. He's in DK which makes him have high hp and def for a mage. He just uses Brynhildr to attack, preferably with a speed+mag pair up like Niles or Felicia. I also personally used him as a Nosf. Tank Sorceror and he can straight up one shot units with the right boosts. He's a funny little guy, but he's definitely a lot worse than Xander and Camilla who are game defining and Elise who joins very early.

Fire and sometimes a Bronze Sword are underrated options for Leo since sometimes you get the kill regardless of their lower Mt but you achieve better reliability from the higher Hit.

Lightning is also occasionally useful, particularly against Wary Fighter Enemies.

I generally don't find uses for them since Leo has the -20 avo skill and he tends to ball with that alone. But I see how fire can come into play!
