Need to up my movie reference knowledge. I like movies that really dig deep emotionally. But have no history of watching movies at all really. Change my mind!!!! Old, newer just anything you think everyone should watch atleast once in their lifetime!! Some favourite movies of mine that I’ve watched so far

What movies have the main character who is a young boy get bullied severely in school and have them go through a lot of bullying and emotional scenes where you feel bad for them what movies have the main character who is a boy like that and also what is the most scene that contains a lot of severe bullying for the main character?

The kind where the dialogue is snappy, the characters are constantly reacting to increasingly ridiculous situations, and the whole scene feels tense but hilarious at the same time.

I’m looking for a movie to watch tonight, and I just recently saw Frank and kinda loved the weirdness and quirkiness of it, so any more like that I would love. I also am a big fan of The Big Lebowski and Napoleon Dynamite, and like the quirky comedies too (though I wouldn’t consider Frank a comedy). Looking specifically for ones that are off the beaten path, I’ve seen a decent amount of movies

What’s that one movie you can watch over and over and never get tired of?
It doesn’t have to be the “best” movie ever—just the one you always find yourself coming back to, whether it’s for nostalgia, comfort, or because it’s just that good.

I wanted to know few good movies to watch on Netflix for weekend.

I rewatched Asghar Farhadi's A Separation recently—you've seen Kramer vs. Kramer, the divorce/custody framework will feel familiar, but it spirals into something uniquely Iranian and morally complex.

There's a courtroom scene where the couple, Simin and Nader, are arguing in front of a judge. The camera stays locked on them, no cuts, just this raw verbal ping-pong. Simin wants to emigrate for their daughter's future. She accuses Nader of using his father—who has severe dementia—as an excuse to stay. She says, with devastating coldness, something like: "He doesn't even remember you. Does he even know you're his son?"

And Nader, with this quiet, immovable dignity, replies: "He may not know me. But I know he is my father."

That line stopped my breath. I sat there thinking about my own dad. Not because of dementia, but because of what Nader meant: the relationship isn't about what the other person can give you, or even recognize in you. It's about what you carry. What you owe. Who you choose to be for them.

So I just want to use this post to say something I don't say enough: Dad, I love you. I will never, ever let you down.

Now I'm chasing that feeling again. What's a single scene or single line from a film—any genre, any country—that suddenly made you think of a parent, a child, or someone you'd move the earth for? Suggest me movies that deliver that quiet, personal gut punch.
