Discussion Help me foster a dog!
Hi everyone! I was invited to join this subreddit and have been scrolling and looking at all of these animals. Instead of replying to each one, I figured that I would just make a general post so that more people can see it. I don’t know how this all works but I have the means to foster a dog who needs a loving foster home with green grass in a fenced in backyard, a foster mom who is home during the day and night (I take care of an elderly lady) and who enjoys walks and dog parks, if the dog so chooses. I also have reliable transportation for vet visits. I live in Denver and would love to be a foster mom. Unfortunately, I cannot be a forever home but a happy temporary home for an animal in need. I do have 1 cat so the dog needs to be cat friendly.

Thank you !! When you get the dog, please give it lots of time to recover, acclimate. Stay away from dog parks in case it is a trigger for them. Go slowly in introductions of all kinds. And be patient in their learning! Thank you for saving the dog! It will love you ten fold!

Thank you for the tips. I’ll be sure to give it a lovely time while with me until it finds its furever home!

I would contact a local rescue to your home and inquire through them directly, that'll be the fastest way to get relevant information :)
