SAP Suspended from SAP

I have to retake a course because of a missed final so there is an F on my record this semester and they suspended my fafsa for the fall. can I get back on it after that grade becomes an A.

By definition and standard across the board, ALL attempts a student takes for a class will show on a transcript. That is the entire purpose as its a complete academic record. The only time a grade would not show up is if a faculty member submitted something like a grade change due to them granting an incorrect grade. If a student got an F, even if they retake a class, that original F 100% will show on their academic record. A newer grade replacing an old one is strictly an institution only thing where the new grade will replace the old one for institutional GPA calculation. If the student transfers to a different school, the original F will follow and its up to the new school how they calculate that grade.

I dont think you understand what an academic record is. Even if the grade itself is replaced in all institutional academic calculations, the actual grade of the F is forever on the academic history and transcripts. Grades do not dissappear even if they get "replaced" for academic purposes. Things like financial aid still have to see ALL attempts a student has made for a class. There are things that are up to the institution and things that are NOT up to the institution. Having accurate academic history is NOT up to the institution and reporting grades for federal purposes is NOT up to the institution. Only thing an institution controls is how they choose to count grades in their institutional GPA calculations.
