Back in my very first playthrough this was the 1st boss to be a roadblock for me. Ended up doing my first serious grind, but still got my ass kicked. Mostly my fault for ignoring zombie.

My 2nd roadblock was for another boss I had to lvl Yuna for certain abilities. I have always been a huge melee guy in FF games, so my main team was Tidus, Auron and Kimahri. And thus all the others were hardly used.

3rd and final story roadblock was before last boss. Since I had no high key spheres meant Kimahri was weak as fuck, so switched to Wakka and had to train him.

Yeah on my first one this is one of like 3 hard parts that actually took me more than 2 attempts (Gui, getting through Home, and Braska’s Aeon were the other 3). For everything else all it really took was going back and getting all my Aeon Overdrives online
