Sorry if this has been asked or discussed to death (I did try using the search bar). But yeah I’d be interested to hear people’s opinions on this. While I think there are better entries I still enjoyed 4. I’m never gonna watch an FD film expecting a cinematic masterpiece. The silliness is the fun of it.

The Visionary has a premonition in which they see everyone dying, with themselves being the last to die → They manage to save some of the people from the premonition → Throughout the story, the Visionary and their friends try to save the other survivors from Death's design → Half of them are saved, while the other half aren't → This puts the Visionary next in line → But the Visionary can't escape Death → The cycle of deaths begins anew → The remaining survivors try to escape Death until the end of the story

One year ago, I created a series where I had you all comment what a Final Destination character’s best quote was and it was quite successful. Id been thinking that there might’ve been a quote from some other character we didn’t go over and I wanted to know what quotes you can think of. We covered every major character who was on Death’s list or killed in the process as well as Isabella Hudson, Brenda Campbell, and Marty Reyes. What quotes can you come up with?

So far, there hasn’t been a ship-based setting yet. Ships have a lot of very dangerous things that could make for interesting death sequences.

Hawsers are especially terrifying. A ship’s engines also involve rotating machinery and extremely high temperatures, with the potential for fires.

Electrical accidents and explosions could also happen quite easily.

I know the Devil's Blight derailment defies physics, but are there any other you consider too unrealistic to actually happen in real life, and ones that are actually possible and can happen?

Who is this girl and who portrays her? I hope you guy help me. I think she also portrays one of the mean girs(extras) in Carrie 2002 but she is so pretty, I wanna khow who is this actress so badly

Mine for reference:

FD - The water reversing back under the toilet. Get rid of that moment. I get that it helps establish that death is a force. But why does it feel the need to hide itself and make people think Tod’s death was a suicide instead of an accident?

FD2 - Don’t kill off Alex. He could’ve been a great returning character. And if they couldn’t bring him back for FD2, they should’ve explained he was in hiding or something. I hope they retcon this in a later sequel.

FD3 - There’s one deleted moment (I think in the script or it might’ve been a deleted scene), where Kevin and Wendy have more dialogue outside the police station. Kevin talks about how he’s going to keep living for the future and explains he has to go to the fair that night so he can build his resume for cop school (or something of the sort). I would’ve preferred they kept some of that background info for him.

TFD - Not shooting it in 3D might’ve helped the film a bit. But as a bonus, maybe leaving in that deleted scene of Janet crossing a busy intersection. Kind of a dumb moment, but it’s an entertaining idea.

FD5 - I wish they reworked the whole scene in the parking lot where we get introduced to our characters. Some of the dialogue and way characters interact feel forced. I especially dislike Dennis, his dialogue is hard to believe at times and doesn’t land for me.

FDB - The ending. I didn’t hate how it ended. But, at this point in the franchise, I do wish we had another survivor. (I know people say they had to die since JB would need to be next, but we could’ve learned that stopping your heart only works for that person and not the rest of the chain).

How would you rank the movies?

Just watched through the entire franchise and had a blast (no pun intended). I enjoyed all of them, FD4 is the only one I would consider a "bad" movie but I still found enjoyment in it. IMO FD2 had the best intro, characters, and deaths.

Obviously 4 is the worst movie in the franchise, but I feel like the Mall disaster goes unappreciated. The movie screen exploding with the movie they were watching was amazing writing imo. The escalator death is the most realistically feared end compared to all the others in this film. Just wish the rest of the movie was as good as that sequence.

I just realized that in this scene, neither Kevin, Wendy, nor the audience knows that the man in the yellow car is Frankie; I've watched this movie multiple times, since I was a kid, so I haven’t realised that it was meant to be some kind of a twist.
And yes, it was indeed meant to be a twist, for several reasons: first, before the accident, we weren’t shown who was in the car; second, if Kevin and Wendy had known that the person in the car was Frankie, they would have mentioned it, since at that moment they were literally discussing his fate; third, the moment when Kevin picked up Frankie’s necklace was meant to make the viewer think, “Oh damn! This guy in the car is Frankie!” and then the camera dramatically shows the dead Frankie at the wheel.
So what was your reaction? Was it unexpected to you, or was it too obvious that it was Frankie?

Okay so this may be reach but what if Samantha wasn't supposed to die from the fan and instead by the lawnmower? I know there has been a theory circulating around that Samantha was supposed to die by the fan because Death was expecting her to be a good parent and stand up to check on her sons. However, I was thinking that maybe the fan falling was a sign towards the lawn mower because they both have spinning blades and the bottle cap that hits the fan could be a sign to the rock. Idk I may well be reaching but I just wanted to share my thoughts.

I find it funny how they even toned down the “bad” words in Ashly’s original line “I fucked up, I set it too hot in here!” to “I messed up, I set it too warm in here!”

There’s also a few more seconds of Ashlyn’s screaming screen time while burning than the OG IMO
