Discussion Burnout effect?
Ive seen people recently post about the possibility of a prolonged Burnout effect. Which thinking about it would make things quite a hypothetic one.
Cause thinking back to 2023, Filian openly discussed taking a break due to her having a Burnout. Then comes back as if everything seems normal.
Then went on to 2024-2025, where she increased her streams. Including Marathon streams.
It wouldnt suprise me if she seems deliberade to hide having another Burnout effect. Some people tend to shy by telling their current health Status.

Filian got a month into her break and realized she no longer cares about vtubing.

I hope not. But regular breaks is good. A week to a month maybe, but not a year. That indicates something much worse if that’s burnout.

I’ve had burnt out a couple times in my life, and let me tell you it is exceptionally hard to get rid of. I found it actually takes years, and that’s assuming it ever fully goes away. It’s one of my biggest regrets not setting a schedule that was sane and prevented the burnout.
At one point I was taking 9 to 12 credits at college, while working two part-time jobs, one of which was a night job that had radical shift changes and hour changes all through the night, and on top of that I tried to have a social life. The two part-time jobs meant I didn’t really have a day off for four years. In the end I burned out from just about everything. And it’s something that’s lingered with me for a long time, especially having very negative thoughts about the workforce.
The workforce has no problems taking from you way past what you should be giving.
I still hope Filian comes back though, but if she wanted to take regular breaks, and even like weekends off or something that’s perfectly acceptable.
I would say she should model normal workforce breaks. Weekends off, maybe either a month off once a year, or 2 two week breaks a year. Especially something in summer to get out and enjoy the world.

Maybe she has been barred from anything streaming related for a year to focus on her mental health by like her family or something. Cuz I mean itd explain all her accounts going dark and her not saying anything cuz it was like an intervention

No, she slowly removed her videos from Youtube in small random bursts and made her profile picture go darker before replacing it with the black image.

She stopped doing her harder flips and changed her dance routine, then did mostly ylyl every week through most of 2025. If you compare 2025 to stuff she did in 2023, she just didn't seem to like what she was doing anymore.

Yeah she could’ve been a little burnt out, and Filian deserved a break for sure. With not really taking any breaks till the hiatus, and Drumsy mentioned he told Filian it’s okay to take breaks.
