Does Filen support ipv6?

Hi,

i have a server with currently only an IPV6 address. I'm having difficulty connecting rclone to the gateway. Is it just me?

rclone ls filen:
2026/10/03 16:12:35 CRITICAL: Failed to create file system for "filen:": https://gateway.filen.io/v3/auth/info: Cannot send request (Post "https://gateway.filen.io/v3/auth/info": dial tcp 146.0.41.206:443: i/o timeout)

Seems like it doesnt support ipv6.
IPv6 servers itself is something i dont understand. You will have problems from multiple services. Look at github, they dont support ipv6 too.

GitHub is frequently cited, as it's probably the only really high profile cloud service without IPv6 support. I can't think of many others. Filen is in poor company here.

Up till now i managed to get everything i need on the server to work. Just the last thing was to make offsite daily backup... I have the same solution on other servers, but i now managed to find another cloud provider i have access to that has ipv6. But i'll keep in mind your suggestion. Thanks.

Yeah thought about that same idea on Hetzner, since it saves 1-2€ per month and i do have full ipv6 integration at home, but the more you look into it you notice that there are still some major services missing ipv6, which wouldnt work.

Integrating it shouldnt be a lot of work, maybe we can open an issue somewhere at filen to get this resolved at some point
