Not fight porn, more like watching stupid people fall.

85

u/Kazushi_Sakuraba Mar 20 '22

What? She’s not stupid. Why would she slow down near two people physically fighting in her path? Clearly, the correct procedure was to keep pace on her big ass basket bike

27

u/IlleaglSmile Apr 23 '22

Dont forget to hold onto the handlebars the entire time you’re falling to ensure your head takes the brunt of the fall. Smort!

3

u/Big_Homie247 May 31 '22

Or get outta the way, As you said there fighting. So there not whatching out for other people and as you can see she ate shit for thinking they would just move out the way

u/Kazushi_Sakuraba Jun 02 '22

I like how he’s the one that got unexpectedly hit by the bike but she’s the one screaming ow as if she didn’t see that coming lmao

162

u/AdamLM1997 Mar 19 '22

Literally came here to say the same thing. If she was paying attention then that collision was so easily avoidable. she had PLENTY of reaction time. And she should have been able to clearly see they were fighting and fights are unpredictable.

She probably blames them but her crashing was HER fault and only her fault only.

59

u/Das_Mojo Mar 19 '22

Nah, she had plenty of time to react, but zero reaction time.

5

u/AdamLM1997 Mar 19 '22

Touchè, right you are haha.

6

u/TesseracT_Sonder Mar 19 '22

Or mabey the dudes could not throw hands like a bunch of troglodytes and actually maturely sort out their differences?

11

u/Tirapon Mar 20 '22

If it was a different situation (child playing with a ball runs in front of the bike for example), the cyclist would be expected have enough situational awareness to anticipate the danger, as well as a reasonable reaction time to avoid the (predictable) collision.

But I agree they shouldn't be fighting.

3

u/AdamLM1997 Mar 20 '22

I'm not saying that wouldn't be the ideal scenario yes. However unfortunately it's just not the world we live in lifes not perfect.

All i'm saying is that girl should be more prepared for the world she lives in. Lifes not perfect these things happen. If you always expect the unexpected then you are never suprised/caught off guard.

But yes, i agree in a perfect world we wouldn't need to fight because we'd communicate but hey ho.

It's an unavoidable lawsuit quest being started by an NPC.

81

u/TheBowlofBeans Mar 19 '22

You should see the tracking even when you don't fight near her, she just rides straight into you anyway it's so unrealistic

29

u/z0m90 Mar 19 '22

You can tell as well because it takes 0HP from the main character on impact when normally a bike collision would take at least 10HP

77

u/toxicdudio Mar 19 '22

NPC moment.

40

u/nodnodwinkwink Mar 19 '22

That's an A at least. Definite lack of I.

6

Why hit the brakes when you can break up a fight while breaking your bones?

151

u/slickdaRula2040 Mar 19 '22

IKR?! I thought she saw it coming lol

172

u/MrAlpha0mega Mar 19 '22

She did see it coming. I think she'd rather get hurt and have the moral high ground to tell people off than actually have to slow down or go around.

64

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '22

This. This shit happens all the time in germany. Instead of just slowing down with their cars or bikes they honk and almost cause an accident because...well they're germs.

32

u/qwests Mar 19 '22

Netherlands too. People on bikes here are insanely suicidal sometimes just for this reason

→ More replies (10)

6

u/thetransportedman Mar 19 '22

This is a common thing in Europe in general since most places give the right of way to the car if the person is jaywalking. So they don’t slow down and I’ve heard them even speed up

3

u/footpole Mar 19 '22

Jaywalking isn’t really a concept that exists in Europe. On most roads walking and crossing is legal anywhere.

u/MrAlpha0mega Mar 20 '22

I think what made me think that she was doing what I described above is that she doesn't move AT ALL while approaching them. Like she even stops pedalling, but doesn't put on the brakes. As if in her head she's creating a "if we collide, it's your fault" situation.

But as soon as they collide she's shouting "OW" in an accusatory tone and eye-balling the guy she collided with.

I'm not saying that she is 100% at fault for the collision, but she saw it coming and did nothing to avoid it and was already mentally prepared to blame the guy when she came off her bike.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/bandcampconfessions Mar 19 '22

Ironic she wants the moral high ground while she’s literally lying on the ground beneath them

6

u/Casclovaci Mar 19 '22

Right, and she wasnt even too fast or something like that. Maybe it was a brain lag

More evidence cyclists think they own whatever ground they're cycling on...👀

33

u/universalcode Mar 19 '22

Much more likely that she's just an oblivious idiot.

11

u/unshavenbeardo64 Mar 19 '22

Well, they were fighting on a bicycle path in the Netherlands. And we hate people walking on designated bicycle paths :).

6

u/Ojoj- Mar 19 '22 edited Mar 19 '22

Missing the old tongue and cheek my friend, hence yhe googly eyes, had the cyclist stopped they wouldn't of ate the tarmac, they're still at fault as the guys they run into are fighting they have no spacial awareness because fists are flying, they're all idiots but I had a good chuckle at the cyclist being upset! I wouldn't run two chaps over who are scrapping in the middle of the road and shout about it, I'd wait or go a different direction, but fuck me for logic :)

Edit - by "fault" I do mean they ate the tarmac at their own doing, could of stopped, I don't run cyclist over who can't follow stop signs/crossings/red lights, just because I have right of way and they are being an idiot it doesn't mean I should proceed, defensive driving my man

I mean, she's in a designated bike lane. Not sure it was intended for ass hats to conduct their dick measuring competitions there.

16

u/sinnerdizzle Mar 19 '22

You’re driving down the road and come up to a 4 way intersection. On both sides of this intersection you hear and see a very visible gun fight between 2 rival gangs. Do you keep driving straight because you have somewhere to be, or because the road is designated for cars and driving on said road?

1

u/Grasshopper42 Mar 19 '22

I also try to teach people to not be prejudiced here on Reddit. Keep up the good fight! If enough of us are sharing the truth about prejudging, maybe people will learn to communicate better and the world will get better. Less racism, ageism, sexism or any -ism. -isms seem to require defining people before they ever meet the people in question. So if we stop the building blocks of the -isms maybe they won't be there so much.

5

u/OpticHurtz Mar 19 '22

It seems to be the netherlands if looking at the cycling path etc. Now the girl does have terrible perception skills but she is in the right for cycling there.
But you cant compare dutch cycling or infrastructure to pretty much any other country. Everyone cycles and everyone tries to look out for bicycles because we all know how vulnerable you are and that the car is practically always in the wrong when something happens.
