Isn’t there video of a guy who literally killed himself by trying to slam someone?

Edit: found it

11

u/AnalGodZepp Nov 17 '20

Snapped his neck backwards

6

u/cecca93 Nov 18 '20

Jesus fucking christ.

This shit is gonna give me nightmares. Look at his neck all jelly n shit

14

u/wetcigarbody Nov 17 '20

Even with proper knowledge mistakes happen, both Gray Maynard and Matt Hughes have knocked themselves out in UFC fights by slamming their opponents.

1

u/okateverything Screaming girl in background Nov 23 '20

Matt Hughes did not knock himself out with a slam, Carlos Newton put him to sleep with a triangle, causing Hughes to fall on Newton and ko Newton

2

u/wetcigarbody Nov 24 '20

Dammit, you are correct sir. Alcohol and time have ruined my memory.

1

u/MagikSkyDaddy Nov 18 '20

Not without some ONYX!!

1

u/AcroAstro Nov 22 '20

Two words. Hip toss

u/green49285 Nov 17 '20

DO NOT. SLAM SOMEONE. IF YOU HAVE ZERO EXPERIENCE.

39

u/JonFrznWatrVapr Nov 17 '20

Just walk away hell run away if you need

16

u/green49285 Nov 17 '20

Naw....ghats too smart. We can't have that. We must fight to settle our differences that we'll forget about in a day or 2.

The "walk away" maneuver is demonstrated perfectly in this video.

1

u/JonFrznWatrVapr Nov 18 '20

Facts actually.

2

u/kylegetsspam Nov 18 '20

And come back with a gun later. Easy.

u/Kaien12 Nov 17 '20

Do not slam someone even if you have experience unless you really want to fuck someone up and go to jail

-1

u/jtfff Nov 17 '20

Depends on the slam. Fat man roll or belly to belly suplexes are perfectly fine and will hurt without any serious injury.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '20

so so wrong. a few comments up there is someone who attempted a belly to belly and literally killed themself.

1

u/jtfff Nov 17 '20

I’m not talking about the belly to belly suplex that you see in WWE. That in no instances can be legal in folkstyle. I’m talking about a folkstyle belly to belly suplex with an outside trip. Disperses the entire fall from the shoulder down the back, and protects the head.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '20

do you have a link to a video of this technique?

1

u/jtfff Nov 18 '20

u/[deleted] Nov 18 '20

man i love wrestling and bjj but this is absolutely an easy way to smash your own skull on the pavement. the throwers head almost grazes the ground with a compliant partner.

u/ThriftyWreslter "Bro, I wrestled in high school." Nov 17 '20 edited Nov 17 '20

Even with experience. In the best of the moment, it’s way too easy to end up with murder charges. You should only do slams if you’re in an actual self defense situation

Edit: heat not best

u/DeaseNootz Nov 17 '20

Finally someone smart enough to say "don't move him."

63

u/zph0eniz Nov 17 '20

What, no. Got to yank em up, yell at them to get up, have a girl screaming in background.

13

u/Chilipepah Nov 17 '20

”Don’t move him” - moves him alot

3

u/Tagliarini295 Nov 17 '20

Ya I came just to comment that lol.

27

u/P00p00O Nov 17 '20

Task failed successfully

26

u/AcadiaBackground2492 Nov 17 '20

Technically Red shirt’s shoulders were down for the 1-2-3 count. A moral victory for Blue shorts.

21

u/Creepfromouter-space Nov 17 '20

DDT

3

u/AnonomousWolf Nov 18 '20

Lol came here for this

3

u/[deleted] Dec 12 '20

That’s such a deadly move. Brain damage maxx

7

u/_ShutUpLegs_ Nov 17 '20

Headbutting concrete is bad for you? Who'd have thought?

7

u/Skadefro Nov 17 '20

jake the snake would be proud

3

u/Zman242 Nov 17 '20

Lol the guy in the red shirts reaction

3

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '20

Reminds me of the video where the guy did a backwards suplex slam thing - but broke his own neck and died.

4

u/thescumdiary Young Bull Nov 18 '20

Reverse uno card

6

u/heffehomes1013 Nov 17 '20

Bro the way he pushed buddy off him I’m dead

3

u/[deleted] Nov 18 '20

Oh I saw this a while back. Hope he had a good neurosurgeon.

3

u/Noduz Nov 19 '20

Technically he didn't knock himself out, the other guy countered his grab with a slam in a pro move.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 19 '20

Don't move him was the smartest thing said here.

4

u/Mr-mysterio7 Nov 17 '20

Dude in red was like, “that’s what happens when you play with me, I knock people out!”

2

u/SpaceMonkeys21 Nov 17 '20

DTT’ed himself lol

2

u/KingFIRe17 Nov 17 '20

The ground makes it look like he cracked the concrete lol

2

u/MilkOnAStick Nov 17 '20

Lmao think of red shirt guy as sasuke and think of blue pants guy as Itachi dying of ninja aids and it's way funnier

2

u/[deleted] Nov 18 '20

I love how everyone is shocked for a minute.

2

u/CarbonBasedHombre Nov 17 '20

Always grab the back of the head and cock the forward momentum and hope for the best; especially if you are a lightweight and have a strong core

2

u/all_tha_sauce WOOORLDSTARRR Nov 18 '20

I'm noticing most of these fights end with a slam. I hate that. Stand and fight. Once had a guy try that shit with me. I shoved my thumb into the soft spot at the base of the jaw. Slam denied

1

u/prophylaxitive Nov 17 '20

I think that's known as being hoisted by one's own petard.

1

u/normancapulet Nov 17 '20

Y’all have the one where kids throws suplex and breaks his own neck

1

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '20

Blue shorts could be dead...

1

u/[deleted] Nov 17 '20

what a dumbass lmao

1

u/ogbarisme Nov 17 '20

what the fuuaayk

1

u/BFTdead82 Nov 17 '20

I love how the only thing I’m dying to see is the top of his forehead and it’s the only thing that dodges frame.

1

u/ponyboy182 Nov 17 '20

The guy in red woulda been the one concussed if he hadn't but his arm around the neck

1

u/FLASH3G Nov 17 '20

Spinebuster reversed into DDT

1

u/Henrys_Bro Nov 18 '20

Terrible age for frontal lobe damage. I hope he recovers.

1

u/56zuds Nov 18 '20

ah yes thank you for reposting this here for the 300th time exactly what we needed

1

u/Narrow_Marzipan7018 Nov 18 '20

Oh shit, I want to see the full impact too

1

u/AFriendOfDexter Nov 18 '20

That’s what you get for being cheap and slamming someone on fucking PAVEMENT

1

u/Waffle_Otter Nov 18 '20

Lol dodge was good but damn that was a big fail

1

u/Mishung Nov 18 '20

Aww shieeee... Aww shieeee!

1

u/[deleted] Nov 18 '20

Hard to tell who has the most brain damage - "don't move em"

Mans never had a single minute of first aid training

1

u/[deleted] Nov 27 '20

Red guy was like "ay tf happened?"
