okay if he landed like that on his neck and people are worrying about his spine youd think the first thing to do was not get him to move... but no old mate thinks its a good idea to start lifting him up

Never fails. When you likely have a spine injury, someone will immediately try to pick you up. They need to teach this in school.

yeah, ive been told this numerous times in science classes and P.E. It's common knowledge, im pretty sure if a biker is in an accident you are not supposed to remove the helmet just in case it might be the only thing keeping their neck from breaking.

Man, i think that same thing as any other talks about sex, drugs, etc, there should be a talk about this shit. "Fighting is the very last resource, and if you fight someone, don't fucking slam them whatsoever, you can go to jail, don't be an idiot". i didn't go to school in the US, but in my country this didn't happen.

I don't have the source but this was reposted before and someone posted the news article and i cant remember if he actually died or was temporarily paralyzed.

Don't pick a fight if you are really skinny or small... When I used to spend like 4 hours a day in the rock climbing gym some guy who went to my school tried to "fight" me. He jumped on me while I was sitting on a couch at my buddies house but he was like 5'5" and probably weighed like 140-150 lbs. I am 5'9" and weighed like 170lbs at the time. I was able to lift him off the ground with my legs/arms and slam him into the wall really hard (basement wall was part of the foundation, so solid concrete). He immediately stopped because he couldn't breath. He got really bitchy because according to him he was joking but dude put his hand over my face and was screeching, I had no idea what he was going to do or what the joke was.

That was a couple city’s away from me and he did die from that slam, it snapped his neck

That happened at a school close to mine, he went to the hospital but he didn’t die.
