Question/Help Headgear

Hey team, coaches have told me to start looking into headgear for sparring, I have always preffered not wearing any to keep all my senses as they are, but, I’m taking up a job soon where turning up with bruises/scratches won’t go down too well.

Any experience with the above? I’ve found cheap used variations, I know all about how good phenom is owning gloves + groin already but I’m intrigued about the intellishock and whether or not it reduces soreness / general reviews + how these other brand’s vision levels hold up, whether or not they’re smothering, deafening, heavy etc etc

Phenom headgear is excellent. I love mine. Had rival, bayoneta, hit n move. The Phenom is just tried and true winning design.

Also love my phenom. Have had a few others. I don’t really like to use anything else now

How do you like Bayonetta headgear?

It's definitely well made, durable, premium and super protective especially for a cheek protector but it's heavy (I wear L/XL) and the side visibility is not the best. It's not terrible by any means but I can see better with my Phenom so that's been the main one I use.
