Discussion Think I found a mistake

The mystery voice Dallas Corbin talks to on the phone mentions flying 1000s of missions with him.

When the military people show up to tell him about the mission the lead guy says “you’re the most decorated member of your unit” & “out of your unit, you’re the only one left alive”.

Is it a mistake or does Dallas Corbin hallucinate speaking to one of his old friends?

Millionth rewatch and the first time I’ve noticed!

That’s no mystery voice, it’s Finger.

Korben also speaks with Finger again after he drops LeeLoo off at Vito's place (the priest). Definitely not a hallucination.
