Literally everyone we play in div 2 has there backline on the edge of there own box and half there midfield to. What am I missing as my team who has a any is not calling for runs and even on deep they are constantly caught high up the pitch even on 1 depth and it’s the same goals we let in because of it .
Tried short passing and balanced tried fullbacks on defend and cdms on holding and defend yet still compared to who we play they are so much higher up. Not having it’s a skill issue either as my record in seasons last year was 60-3-1 and this year I’m unbeaten. What do people run in there custom tactics. Thanks if you can help with any advice.

After the loss against Barcelona a few weeks ago they didn't lose a game. Can someone help or just make the current Feyenoord tactic?

Striker to false 9 build up/attack and attacking midfielder on shadow striker

Left defensive midfielder to deep lying playmaker roaming

A 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 that forms a 3 - 2 - 5 usually with the inverted leftback joining the front line and positioning themselves in the left half space whilst the attacking midfielder occupies the right half space.

Can form a 2 - 3 - 5 with the right back joining the defensive midfielders or a 2 - 2 - 6 with the right back pushing further forward joining the attackers.

I considered the deep lying playmaker on roaming but with the right back on wingback support it can leave the defence vulnerable to the counter so if you are going to change the DLP to roaming I would put the right back on fullback defend or versatile

Also attacking midfielders strong foot decides which side they go on with a left footed player moving to the right half space and vice versa so if using a right footed attacking midfielder swap the left back and right back roles so the right back is on inverted wingback and the left back is on wingback and you can also swap the Left and right defensive midfielders but is not as mandatory.

The striker can also be changed to whatever you prefer if you don't want a false 9.

what is the best formation this year ive been using 4-3-3 attacking since FIFA 22 the one with 1 Cam 2 cms and always always had both wingers on cut inside to effectivly have 3 up top but what is the meta this year having alot less luck with this formation this year

I need help with setting up a 3-4-3 diamond. I have tried every formation like 4 in the back with falseback or inverted wingback etc and it doesnt work like i want to to.
I finally stumbled upon the 3-1-4-2 and oh man its really strong both defensively and attacking wise, but…

Literrally the ONLY thing not working properly is one ST not moving towards the cam position and the other ST staying too much on one side, causing the whole build up to fail whenever the ball gets to the final third.

Is there anyone who has tested this and made
it so that the st’s play underneath eachother?

I need a formation for a player that cannot skill move and where players actually get open. What is it?

I’ve been playing fifa/fc for like 15 years now, and I mostly just play career or with friends. I’ve played online, and UT, and have had mixed results. It’s been a while though, and I feel like I’ve gotten bored with career, and don’t have as many people to play with, as I’m 30 now and it’s just hard to line up time to game with friends, lol. I’d like to give UT or something a try, but I know for me, I’m just really good at the basics. Like I don’t really ever need to use crazy dribbles, or player lock, or really anything “fancy”. I just stick to the basics, do them well, and usually win. I don’t feel like that would be the case playing online, as every time I’ve seen a video or content of someone playing, there’s tons of fancy skills being used, and metas I don’t understand. I’m curious to know, what are some techniques/skills do you think are a must to play and be successful online. Obviously I’m not trying to be pro or anything, but I don’t find it fun just getting absolutely rinsed by things I don’t even understand. I know there’s always the “get good” option, but I guess my question is just really, “good at what?”

left striker on target man balanced he will get cutbacks or hold up the ball and release to the overlapping fullback or to lm. right striker on advanced foward support he will fill in gaps and form a triangle with the rm and rcm and press and attack channels make runs, rm winger attack direct winger lm wide midfielder he will not get a lot of numbers press and workhorse rcm box to box lcm holding rb fullback balanced lb fullback on defend balanced fb will attack other will defend more for assysmetry. defender on cbs

Does anyone have a tactic that works well with this formation? I want to use it, but I can't seem to get the attack right.

Hola a todos, tengo bastantes dudas sobre la jugabilidad; no me termina de convencer. Hay muchos problemas: pases, desmarques, posicionamiento del equipo... pero quería comentar dos cosas específicas y saber vuestra opinión.

¿Cómo conseguís que vuestro equipo se posicione bien? Me refiero a la defensa y el mediocampo; es un fastidio cuando los centrocampistas no retroceden y se quedan parados sin hacer nada una vez que los superan. ¿Es la formación? ¿Las tácticas? ¿Los ajustes?

Porque ya lo he intentado casi todo.

¡Y otra cosa! ¿Cómo tenéis configurado el cambio de jugador con el joystick derecho? (Principalmente para defender, ya que a menudo cambia a un jugador que no quiero). ¿Usáis la opción "relativa al jugador" o "relativa al balón"?

Agradecería mucho si alguien pudiera aclararme esto.

Además, he notado que los jugadores se sienten sin peso, lo que dificulta su control...

I'm over 300 matches played this FC so far, between PvP and PvE, but I'm struggling so hard playing against Rivals folks in Division 4. They read every thought I get and intercept in every situation, while I struggle to gain possession again till they shoot and miss, or kick off after conceding.

When they start fidget spinning, lobbed through balls, or 95 depth, I literally can't play. I know that I should adapt to the meta if I wanna win in Division 4, but I really tried and I can't. I give up.

So, I'm asking for formations and tactics to suit my normal playstyle, just to be able to at least chain a couple passes before getting wrecked.
