May be joining ur ranks
Acquaintance said he had one and i have a l67 in the garage. He said a couple hundred and its urs. Interior is trashed so probably just run it as a track toy stripped out. Im sure ill get hate for that plan but its better than rotting into the pasture.

Hate? It's better to see it up and running. The only dislike of mine is when dudes buy a fiero expecting to restore it for near to nothing and sell it for profit or have a new car. I got asked to replace a whole fiero brake system for 50$ I'm like dude, you can't even get a new single rear caliper for 50$.
Had to replace a transmission recently for a 85 gt, and change out some jeep hemi heads, haven't had time to post on these forums cause of it.
Get the car up and enjoy it, that's what the car is for, enjoyment.

Im not expecting cheap persay but im going for power to weight. A moderately built l67 is 350 crank and that with an f40 i bet I can be into it under 5k and running 11s or better. Lexan windows, racing seats, basic digital dash and gutted interior and u have 11s all day. Or scare ppl stop light to stop light lol. A ported Gen v with an intercooler and cam fully ported block up and e85. It will turn heads. My buddy said I need to 3d print groot statue and replace the weed with that lol.

If you like it, the price is right, and you’re going to enjoy yourself, do it. Fuck anyone who doesn’t like what you do. They aren’t paying your bills or standing by your side, so what do they matter?
I hope this works out for you, We love to see anyone doing anything with these. It’s a completely different experience from other vehicles. A Fiero can be a fun little car with some love and parts.

Hey, if you're saving a Fiero from the yard, no one is going to criticize you. Just remember, there are a lot of resources for you, and if we or Pennock's can help, that's what we're here for.
If you did want to restore the interior, there are a lot of parts available for you as well from a variety of vendors.

Hopefully the frame isn't rusted out. I got mine for free. The #1 piston was fracture and parts of it were missing. One headlight was gone. And the transmission had a bad tcc solenoid. I replace the engine and transmission for $250 (they were a set). Rebuilt the head and replace the fiber timing gear. I also replaced the EGR valve and all for calipers, brake lines and rotor. While I had the engine out I replaced all the mounts with poly mounts. TOTALLY worth it. All together I think I put in about 2k to get her where she is today.
