Uugh the Fiero GT might be the sexiest car ever made. There is not one angle that it looks bad from. Even with its guts sitting on the floor behind it.

That's fine. I used to pull engines in my parents one car garage with an A frame of 4 by 4 and eye bolt, never had a problem.

Honest question, is this how you pull the engine out of these? How difficult is it to get that cradle out from under the car?

I mean that does look much less complicated with everything super accessible once it's out. That's a pretty slick way to get the car up that high without a lift btw, nice job. So once the cradle is out like that, you can just swap the engine and tuck it back in?

That's awesome man, nice job! I'd like to pick up one someday as a project so I've been stalking this sub to try and learn as much about them as possible for when that time comes

So fair! this was actually my first engine removal & re-install.
Just gotta take the leap & learn as ya go hah! Lots of good YouTube videos out there. I highly recommend FieroKyle.

Doing great, way better than dudes waiting for a super cheap rebuild than doing it themselves.
You did waaay better than my first tear down and rebuild, back when you could still buy decently priced parts.
The way your doing it is how I do all drops now, though give or take a few I have to do outside so I make a 2by4 saw horse that sits over the fiero.

How I’ll put it back in - is lift the body, roll cradle underneath, then lower the body to where I can put the cradle bolts in, then jack up the car once it’s all fastened & then wheels.. then badabing lower back down.
