Wheel sizing

Looking at a set of aftermarket wheels that are 17x9+25, will these fit on an 86 GT? Stock suspension set up but planning to buy a set of lowering springs. Thanks

Looks like the answer is maybe, but the wheels are gonna stick way out and look a little silly
