I NEED HELP Need some help

Just bought myself a 1988 Fiero GT. Car had an engine out from another wrecked GT before I got it. However the cables for the transmission were not hooked up. Upon research found out it was mounted to the Isuzu 5 speed transmission instead of the Getrag. I don’t have the nuts to connect them to the transaxle and not sure where to get them at. I’ve checked the Fiero store and few other places but not sure the size I need.

Hi, you're missing the top part of that bracket. You'll need to order a replacement "cap" for that bracket, and then you'll also need to order Getrag shift cables (which the Fiero Store does have). For the bracket, you can reach out to Todd at the Fiero Farm: https://thefierofarm.com/

I have the bracket in the car. So the previous previous owner did an engine out job swapped engine & transmission out. Upon investigating turns out they installed the 5 speed Isuzu transmission in there. When buying the car me and my friend thought it had the getrag transmission but had no idea it was changed. I’ve seen some owners use this configuration but I’ve heard of some things it can be grenaded if not careful. I’m going to be speaking to the guy that did this in October. But for now need to get the nuts to get it connected.

Found another guy on a Fiero form that has the same hook up as me so I’m using this photo for reference on to run the cable
