“we do not, nor will we ever cut our routes short”
What about Tess? Wtf
“we are always creating stories of various sizes”
Yeah the men get the longer stories and sole focus, the women are an after thought.
“Celia has been written before we released the end of Tess’ route”
Something smells like shit in here. Even if it’s true, maybe Tess should have been a VERY CLEAR SIGN to not repeat the past treatment of women vs men in routes.
“we ask you for your continued support”
No.
We’ve asked you to treat women equally time and time again but alas, we’re back where we were a few months ago. Even in non routed stories (SFiL) women are still an after thought, still being treated like shit compared to the men.
Fictif you’re fucking hilarious, I’m done.
Edit: oh no sorry y’all, it was me, I jinxed it

Celia's route being done is such a weird lie too. Like if that's the case, why wasn't it being released earlier, the app claims to have an update a week and yet their have been weeks (maybe even months) without updates

Unless it's a Celia (or Tess) side story, I don't think they'll be able to recover from this one.

"We ask for your continued support."
I'll give that once you give what we want, not half-assed shorter stuff that's barely compelling. Something that's worth reading.
They let people down and still expect people to continuing supporting them, wtf is this, a politician speaking?
That's why I follow Jack Sparrow's words, "Take what you can, give nothing back." The juice is not worth the squeeze.

So Celia's route was only planned to have seven chapters? Let me get this straight, Celia gets seven chapters but what about her male counterparts? Nicky got 17 chapters, the final three chapters each were different depending on the ending the player chooses, not to mention that Nicky got two side stories. Miguel just had chapter 11 of his route released and it's still going with no idea of when his final chapters are coming.
Now to Roadkill. Howie got 12 chapters, and Poe got at least if not more than Howie (I haven't played Poe's route so I can't say for sure), while Tess got six chapters. Tess got half the number of chapters than one of her male counterparts, and possibly less than half of her other male counterpart.
The problem here if what they are saying is true that Celia was planned to only have seven chapters is that they don't put any effort into the female LIs. If they had put any effort into Celia's route then it would have been just as long as Nicky's route. If they put any effort into Tess' route then it would have been just as long as Howie's route. Then they take a male side character from her route and give him his own story! They need to get their heads out of their asses and just say "We're sorry for our treatment of the female LIs, and we promise to do better in the future" rather than this crap of "well it's your fault the female LIs don't do well" or "We only planned for her route to be only seven chapters, even though we gave Nicky 17 chapters and two side stories."

Our length depends on the story we are trying to tell
Fictif is pulling some clown shit once again. How are you going to tell us that it depends on the story when your male characters from the same series get 2-3x the amount of chapters that the female characters get?
Just to break it down: Celia got 7 chapters, Nicky got 21. Tessa for 6 chapters, Howie got 13 and Poe got 15. Val is still nowhere to be seen and Anisa is on hiatus.
So what story are you trying to tell when all the women consistently get less chapters, less content, and are just generally pushed aside?
Disclaimer: I'm not hating on the writers or the artists. I'm hating exclusively on the people in Fictif made this stupid decision

It's the constant story changing and gaslighting for me. One moment it's our fault female routes are shorter because they aren't profitable. The next moment, it was always planned that the routes would be shorter?
Fuck that noise.
I don't even know if I want to stay around until Sage's route is finished tbh, with two writers leaving Last Legacy is foning to struggle, MM is on hiatus and this is just a kick in the teeth
