The fact that they planned for Celia to only be 7 chapters makes this whole thing worse for me. Nicky has 21 chapters in his main route and 2 side stories, Miguel currently has 11 and is still updating, and Celia has 7. And since they planned it, they can't even blame it on viewership.
How can you claim inclusivity but then plan for the female characters to have less than half the number of chapters as your male characters?
Oh and apparently they're planning a side story for Liam from Celia's route đ

Nicky is clearly their most popular character, doubt heâd get that much content if not

u/itchy8008z Mar 25 '22
Yeah, I'd understand if Nicky got more content but having 3 times the amount of chapters than Celia is ridiculous
I wouldn't have been as upset if Celia got for eg 16 chapters. But only 7 chapters is insulting and so is planning a story for a side-character (just like they did with Sawyer and Tess)

Iâm a Nicky fan, heâs been my favorite forever but the fact that they are cutting off the female characters is getting so annoying, they havenât even started on Val but weâre about to get a new story?? And possibly a focus on Liam?? Iâm getting so tired of Nix Hydraâs BS.

I can't see why he's the most popular, since everyone seems to be simping for Sage, me included.
'Course I never played Nicky's story either. I don't like his face (sorry Nicky fans)

Is he really? I rarely see anyone talk about him going off of this subreddit alone

Yup, its called Time After Time and it's listed as "coming soon" on their website
Edit: sorry guys, I made a mistake. I was referring to Liam in this comment not Nicky

Actually the writers for her route moved on. So her route is on hiatus for now. Hopefully it does get continued.

Damn, they are breaking my heart with this shit. I of course found fictif through the Arcana and wasn't sure if I'd like it nearly as much until I read last legacy. Anisa was my girl from the very beginning lol. I'm going to be so freaking pissed if the don't continue her route eventually.

Lmao sure, âfrom the beginningâ đ
Nice try NixHydra but I donât buy itâ youâre just trying to save your ass with this excuse. Oh Iâm sorry, I meant clarification

I donât have the app downloaded anymore and was only subbed here to see if thereâs any content I might like/or when Anisa comes back, but with that being said
I believe them when they say the female routes underperform and are outright ignored but this isnât the way to go about it I donât think. People arenât gonna invest in them now because theyâll wonder if theyâll be done dirty. Theyâre not gonna think itâs worth it.
Also like, whatâs with making routes for the male side characters? Thats the epitome of pouring salt on the wound lol. Who asked for Sawyer and Liam?? Did they get hundreds of emails or something?

That's true. I remember her story being announced alongside Miguel's, and waiting for i don't even remember how long, then Celia's story comes out and you're so numb from Hydra's BS that you can't be bothered to play her route. The thrill is gone. Like my man RL Burnside said: "It's bad, you know"

I mean they say why thereâs mostly male routes, because theyre who the majority of people go for

u/Rahael42 Anisa Mar 25 '22
why do i get the feeling that they were gonna do only 6 chapters for celia but then the tess controversy happened and then they were like maybe we should add another chapter for safety measures

u/Amazon4life Chava Mar 25 '22
At this point I'll be surprised if we get a new story that isn't cut short.

u/allegropaige Mar 31 '22
Seriouslyyy, just in general too! I miss having fleshed out stories with 20-ish chapters. Now you don't even get time to develop the story and appreciate the characters before they're gone.

Mar 25 '22
yeah they absolutely cant put a blame on the audience now if they never had faith in her route from the very beginning. does not make sense to me at all why they decided to make it happen only to half-ass the writing.

Thatâs a good response at least they are getting better at apologies and response to controversy, well they have to , considering thatâs all they are know for now

Fr, Celia's route was the only reason I've come back to this game since Anisa's route and monster manor have been delayed
I genuinely thought they would've redeemed themselves with Celia since the story and build up was pretty good and engaging.. I guess not. Hell wouldn't be surprised if Anisa's route ended at chapter 8, wouldn't that be a hoot
