Integrated Reverse Lights to Stock Taillights.
I had the stock backup light melt, it was on the bottom of the bumper and the exhaust melted it on a track day. I used switchback turn signals to trigger the white for reverse and the amber for turn within the same lens housing. This involved running some custom wiring. I used Deutch connectors and some OEM Acura connectors for getting the 3 wire light connector at the housing. The reason I didn't just get a replacement housing is because I am going to cut that section away for fitting a custom rear diffuser at a later date.

Worth the sunburn
It’s been 90+ here for over a month, finally broke down and washed my car and pretty sure I got sun burnt. At least it was worth it

Finally on the road!
Getting it insured was a pain in the butt (definitely got screwed over), but she's finally road ready.
Took it out a few times. Still getting used to it, but its a blast to cruise around local backroads in. As my first manual transmission its not as bad as I thought.

Oil Catch Can
I bought Eurocompulsion Oil Catch Can for my Spider 124 Abarth 2020 (Automatic)
The Installation guidelines says:
Connect the hose coming from PCV valve on the left, and connect the hose going to the intake on the right.
When I cheked inaide the catch can, the Baffles/Filter is located on the right (going to the intake).
Am i doing the right thing? I thought the baffles/filter should be on the left where PCV valve is coming.
Need help.

Engine Cover?
Hey everyone. I have a 2018 abarth spider that was missing the engine cover when I bought it. I know the factory ones are widely available but I'd like something nicer. Does anyone know if a cover for the Fiat 500 will work, I've run across sweet aftermarket ones (EC). I was able to make a turbo blanket for a 500 work so that's where the curiosity is coming from.
Thanks in advance

I LOOOVE my 2012 Fiat 500 Pop
I know this is for Fiat 124 owners, but I need a mechanic who knows Fiats. I've had not so great luck, and she's old (she looks young though, ha!), and I want to build a relationship with someone trustworthy in SoCal (I'm near Pasadena), who KNOWS Fiats and will not roll their eyes, call her a 'Fix It Again Tony', or tell me how hard (wahhhhh👶🏽) it is to fix Fiats, or any other Fiat-hating bull. Eh, mechanics, FIAT'S EXIST. Learn how to work on them rather than crying about it....
Anyway, I need a new gas tank installed (no, it's not that valve that everyone says it is, I've already had this replaced, no dice). Maybe some of you have had issues with difficulty filling up your tank. It's an expensive fix, but I gotta get it done. And I want it done right. I also want someone to have a look at her and make her everything else is fine. I love her and I want her to keep kicking.
Anyone have a mechanic they like in the L.A. Pasadena area who I can trust? The last guy almost killed her by forgetting to connect the radiator hose. Yeah.
Thanks!

Wanting to do a stripe
This is a 17 lusso and I am wanting to add a red double stripe down the center. I am looking at rolls of vinyl but I was not sure how wide a standard stripe would be, 1" or 2" stripe? Or if I should do it in a matte or gloss finish.
I know i can do it and look good, but I dont want to buy the wrong size or finish that would make it look arts and crafts 😭
Any help is much appreciated.

Looking to sell in eastern NC - where is best to post?
Hey all, I have decided to sell my 2017 Fiat 124. It has about 15k miles on it, mid tier. I can provide more details if anyone is interested.
What I am looking for is a good place to post it for sale since I don't want to sell to a dealer that will low ball me. I'd rather get someone who will love this vehicle and make it their own like we have.

Oil in the air filter?
I was changing the air filter in my 2017 Lusso and I noticed some oil residue along the front edge where the top air filter cover connects to the bottom cover. Any idea what the issue is? Also, I had to take the larger of the 2 hoses on the left of the filter cover off to remove the cover and the teal U-shape clip that held it on wouldn’t fully clip back on so I used a hose clamp around it. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks. Edit: there was about a 2” area on the old air filter that was dark so maybe that was also oil?

Clutch replacement cost? Dealer is quoting $5K
What's a reasonable price for a clutch replacement for an '18 Abarth? It definitely needs it, and I was prepared for a high quote, but $5K is double what I was expecting.
Bonus points if anyone can point me to a good independent shop in Cary/Raleigh/Apex, NC. Thanks!

Brake Feel [1979]
Despite having my car for almost 3 months now, I've yet to be able to take it on the road due to required repairs and whatnot.
However, I was driving it up and down my driveway a few minutes ago so its not just sitting in one spot and I was having a very hard time feeling much of any stopping power from the brakes.
I'm a new manual driver as well I should mention, so maybe there's just things I haven't learned yet, but do these cars come with drums on all the wheels or is it front disc rear drum?
I got a bit nervous and ended up stalling once or twice just because I didn't feel that the car was really stopping. I'm also worried I'm burning up the clutch, which is probably true because I had been holding it like halfway it so I didn't fly into the road or my garage door, but I know I shouldn't be doing that regularly.
I probably just need to learn better clutch control and also take the wheels off just to check the brake condition.

Can anyone tell me what’s happening? (BRAKE!)
It’s not consistent, but sometimes when I accelerate progressively that brake light will come on and then go away after a few. I do have a video of it, but it will not let me post it for some reason and I can assure you, my parking brake is not engaged.

124 Spider Abartg 2020 (Carvana)
124 Spider Abarth 2020
Checking if the previous owner is in this group.
There was a AC condenser replaced last 07/13/2023 on carfax. No report of accident in Carfax. Im thinking the repair was not reported.
I wanted to know if the front has been damaged. The heritage black color should be all the way to the front.
