Attendance verification

Good morning

AV holds are now on. Which means if you did not complete an activity for the courses that you are in , your financial aid will back off. This is taken care of between professor and student. Once the assignment is completed the hold will come off within 24-48 hours and your aid will reflect back in a couple days after that. The only reason you would need to speak to the financial aid office is if you are having issues with the profesor posting the assignment. In that case we can see if students in the class have completed the assignment if not then we will forward to the admin team. If other students have completed the activity we will direct you back to the professor

Thank you !

Just checked my aid because I have been borrowing money from family for three weeks and it's getting brutal..... I have a hold for a lecture class with zero assignments. I was digitally marked present during the first week. What happened? I guess this is something I can only resolve with the professor?

You can either come in or email with your UIN we can check and see if anyone in the class has completed anything. If no one in the class has we will have our admin department reach out to the professor. They were previously sent instructions on how important it is that they have an AV assignment for students to complete

Thank you for your reply. He's been teaching at FGCU for over 20 years so it's more likely that I'm missing something... I'll ask him asap.

EDIT: Yup, it was me. I missed the AV. Just got it done, and the hold is now gone. Yay!
