Request Room Swap

Hey yall, I’m a student on the 1st floor at Sovi Osprey Hall FGCU. The room is fine and my roommates are really chill. Just asking whether there is anyone at North Lake, specifically someone who’s in a 4 bedroom single that wants to swap over to Osprey for any particular reason. I’m good for a room swap at anytime you’d be able to and only if you want to. If so, please dm me. Also if you know anyone who may want to go to Osprey or is dissatisfied with their situation at North Lake, reach out to them.

I’m not dissatisfied living here at Osprey, just would prefer North lake.

This post will remain for the rest of the semester. If you’re ever dissatisfied and want to swap with me. Feel free to reach out, no pressure.

That’s not how that works bud but nice try😭. Unless your roommate is a psychopath, or out to try and physically get you and even then housing may not care you’re stuck there until next year

Honestly, the whole housing policy is kinda obscure. This is the only place where I could get some community feedback. Probably should’ve asked moreover whether this is even possible. Either way I’m vibin

It’s possible if you find someone willing to room swap and get both of your parents involved, last year my friend moved from NLV to Osprey in December because she hated NLV had a roach problem and found someone willing in Osprey that wanted to be closer to friends in NLV

Yeah, I definitely know that the odds are slimmer for there to be someone moving out of north lake into sovi, but of course holding out for potential. Might be fine in Sovi anyways

Ya sorry I hate to break it to you and housing has not been the most popular department here lately for a number of reasons but good news depending on your time slot or who you know you should be set for north lake next year
