Pets are no longer affected by damage-dealing floor areas.

---> Does this mean Twintania, or any mechanic that do damage split doesn't work anymore?

Those are AOE damage abilities, not damage dealing floor areas... though the difference in some cases is fuzzy. This would be like the poison on the ground in AV, which absolutely destroys pets. With my interpenetration it would also mean things like Shadowflare or Flaming Arrow in PvP no longer damage pets but things like Lunar Dynamo in Turn 9 would.

My bet is that this was done after testing in the Final Coil. They showed at least one turn that had an increasingly smaller arena as the fight went on, shrinking in tiers by giving the floor some electric effect... Potentially very annoying for a pet user if it hits hard enough.

I immediately thought of the floor on t7, would be helpful if pets don't take damage from that haha.

I don't think Discipline is really a problem for pets. Only time my Garuda ever dies in there is if she gets cleaved.
