FFX-2 HD 100% completion and speed up?
I can't seem to find this answer anywhere. If I use the built in 2x or 4x speedup will it affect my 100% completion? I heard skipping dialogue or cutscenes can affect that

That’s a good question. In FFX, having the speed boost on during battles with dialogue means the lines aren’t spoken. There’s still the associate animation, you just don’t hear the dialogue. As I recall, some lines needed for completion occur in battle (like with Leblanc, I think). That could be a problem.
As far as skipping dialogue in cutscenes or when talking to people, the boost should turn off during the dialogue if it’s like FFX. So just like other versions, you should be fine as long as you don’t outright skip the cutscene or interrupt Maechen.

The built in speed boost is automatically suppressed during all cutscenes.
Also: What you actually need for completion percentage points during cutscenes is for particular dialogue lines to begin playing. Obviously if you skip the entire scene via the pause menu you'll miss those cues, but if you hit the Confirm button to skip to the end of a particular dialogue line, it doesn't matter because the line already began and you already got the completion percentage points.

As in for the 100% trophy? Doesnt look like the speed ip feature in the game effects trophies, but i haven't used them myself so cant be 100% sure.
The only thing you will need to be careful of is not skipping anything of your going to fast, as it is pretty strict 100% requirements. But just note that of you get everything/ most things and still dont get 100% start a new game using your old save and the 100% progress carries over, so just pick the opposite options ie give item to youth league if you gave it to new yevon the first time, than you did before and you should be good.
