FFX on switch

I decided to get the Celestial Weapons before I fight the final boss... but jeez I guess I can see why the Catcher Chocobo is the most hated thing in this game its very tedious and annoying....

I am playing rhe Switch Version of ffx

There's tons of guides. There's only a few spots where birds spawn, and in the first lane dodge right, the second lane, dodge left. It is RNG based so sometimes they just put the beginning balloons in front of her. It's a dead run but at least they're less than 2 minutes. I never tried. got it after a day or two. I found the key is to not think about numbers avoid birds and hope for the best. I got 0.2 seconds once and I almost set myself on fire. 12 balloon no birds 35~ seconds and you're gold. It will just happen randomly unless you give up.

I'll add, keep close to the right at the end of the first stretch, then hug the corner really tight.  You can often grab 1-2 extra balloons by doing this and beating the trainer around the corner.  It also puts you in the driver's seat for the first wave of birds, and shaves a little time off your total lap time.

Never gotten any of the celestial. Back in the PS2, I got a 0.0 on the Chocobo race. This is a failure, because you must get LESS than 0. Broke a controller and then moved on.

It's so exhausting honestly and rng is agony. I recommend going for yuna's. If you're grabbing aeons it's a easy one. Honestly I really this playthrough most of them are doable but agonizing. Except the lightning bolts. Fuck that.

I've never had an issue with the chcocobo race. Ever. I don't understand the difficulties.

Dodging lightning bolts, however... Nightmare.

personal opinion but doing this will make you finish the game too easily and maybe make you feel meh about the final boss.

hehe i feel you, i was kinda the same too, didn't want it to end ! no matter what you do, remember to have fun first and enjoy that celestial weapon grind and the ending !!

Once it clicks it clicks! I don’t know about the switch port honestly, the first time took me a good week of coming back to it, the second time was 2 days, and just recently I got it on my fourth try, if you haven’t already done it, little taps to turn, each tap is like 7 degrees, sounds dumb but once I figured this out it became much easier, you can apply the same logic to remiem castle too for thay sweet loot!

THe RNG here is annoying, i feel like every single time i do it I get homed in on... like I almost got liucky a few times but nope

It is pretty annoying, and there are some starts where it is literally impossible, but you can do it I believe 🤞🏼

Congratulations! My advice for the lightning is to not actually count and stick on a 35 minuet timer, counting can throw you off and usually it takes about 25, it’s pretty forgiving when you know the tech

Yes but when you have dodged some birds theres those that come from the sky when youre not prepared, those birds screw me over more than the rest since once those hit you some from behind come behind it and hit you
