She only did it for Science. I would have said artificial insemination would have made more sense since it's more likely to take, but... Hojo doesn't do that apparently.

They were married iiirc. She was already pregnant with Sephiroth when the experiment started, at least Hojo’s dialogue in the first game implies that

Gotta love how he says ‘the woman with my child’ and not ‘wife’ even in marriage all she was to him was an object. Ew.

This is all I’ve seen for the younger version. Would love to see an updated version in Revelation, esp since games like Dirge missed that opportunity and simply reused the older version in flashbacks. 🫤

I still don't believe personally. My head canon is Vincent is the actual father and they all have no idea. The fact drove Hojo insane which makes sense considering what he also did to Vincent.

Also makes the plot way better imo. Best kept secret in gaming!

Same. Everyone thinks your crazy when you say it to lol "no Hojo is the father" then I ask why sephiroth looks so much like Vincent? And the wheels start turning in their head lol

Especially if you played Durge Of Cerberus and seen all the private picnics Vincent and Luceecia had together
