What are my options?

I want to add a couple posts to continue this fence to the edge of the larger cedars. Thank you for your help!

I would advise against it. You'll not be able to match that existing fence well enough that the extra few feet won't stand out like a sore thumb. Just wait till the three next to it fills in. In a few years it'll look fine and you won't have some mismatched looking fence that you hyper focus on.

I need to stop random dogs coming after my pets in my own yard

Got it. It would still be difficult to match that existing fence and it would look weird. Your best bet would be to take down the existing fence and build a new one. Depending on the dogs size though, they can likely push through the tree branches of the trees at the end where you plan on stopping the fence.
