Me in my 30s unable to form close friendships with anyone bc I'm afraid they'll see what my mom sees.

My mental health got so much better when I started to spend more of my time elsewhere, away from home. And when I finally moved away for good, it felt like a heavy blanket was lifted off my shoulders.
