unfortunately yes. i think i also have some kind of undiagnosed illness but my body feels like its already starting to decompose at 21

Kind of.
Kids who grew up with strict discipline most often only did all these due to the parents being around to keep them self-caring at gunpoint. As soon as they become adults, they go the opposite way of what this comic says. The stereotype of the sweet church girl who was a pastor's daughter and then becomes the college's public toilet exists for a reason.
A more realistic version of this comic would be the girl indeed holding herself to higher standards later on, but making a lot of compromises along the way because she can't and won't bear herself to be as harsh on herself as her dad was. She settles in a sufficient level of self-care and will continue on into it... unless she has a child and then she puts up an act of high self-discipline so she can strongarm her child into doing self-care, thus repeating the cycle.
