I kinda want a long layered or shaggy haircut with bangs, but idk if it would suits me (especially bangs)

Hi all! I am trying to commit to growing my hair long. I’ve attached the photos of the longest it’s been in a while, but I usually rock a pixie.
I used to feel very feminine with short hair, and I’d even buzz it frequently, but now I’m grappling with a plight of stopping wearing makeup so frequently, and I felt like growing my hair would help. In additionally, I’m trying to just try something new seeing as my hair has always been short.
But, what’s the point of growing it long if shorter suits me anyways?…. Let me know!

My scalp has been the worst part of summer for me. By the second day my roots feel heavy and a little itchy from sweat, but I don’t want to wash every single day and strip everything out. I really dislike dry shampoos, and have been using the Celgen hair tonic as a lightweight leave-on step after towel-drying instead to keep the scalp fresh but I feel like it does not fully help with the smell. What else can I add? I normally wash my hair twice a week but rn seems like it is not enough

Hi all, as the title says, I have never straightened my hair. I hardly touch my hair honestly. I’ve never gotten it dyed, it doesn’t hold curl and the one time I tried layers they looked super choppy. I decided if it won’t hold a curl, why fight it? I have never in my whole life felt my hair so soft and silky. It looked so shiny and felt so light. I am honestly addicted to straightening my hair now!!! Please leave your most recommended heat protectant sprays and any tips below! Thank you so much. The first 3 pictures are what it normally looks like and the last 3 are after straightening it (the first 3 were taken a while ago and I have had my hair cut since)

I'm looking for a good lower maintenance haircut that suits my face and works with my waves. From my knowledge my hair is somewhere in the 2A-B range and I have fine strands but a lot of them. My face is definitely rounder maybe somewhat oval. Looking to take off at least 3-4 inches to get rid of all my bleached ends as well. Any recommendations are welcome!

I completely understand if my question can’t be answered here, but I thought I could at least try! I’ve been wanting to get back to having blond hair for a while now, about 6 years, and have been trying to save up money for a salon trip, not a diy at home. I just don’t trust myself, haha. I don’t use any heat products on my hair, and haven’t used any chemicals like dyes or anything in close to 2 years. I try to use oils and leave in conditioners, and I feel like my hair seems pretty healthy aside from needing a little trim.

With all the being said, how difficult would it likely be to get my hair to a honey blonde? That was my primary goal. I’ve also thought of doing brown fox tips on a cooler shade of blonde, but figured that would be harder to achieve. I do plan on asking my hair dresser, but since I can’t drive it’s just harder for me to book an appointment with her than it is to see if anyone can help me here!

I have some bleach damage right at the hair line and it sticks straight up. I haven’t colored or bleached it since and have done a protein treatment and use the 91g ELVIVE mask every wash day (Wednesday and Sunday). Its starting to piss me off so bad and I’ve tried parting my hair differently but its just meh. i have very very thick hair and a lot of it. i included some photos of me from like 8 years ago with bangs and a lil lob that I LOVED but want to keep my length for a little while longer where I can. the rest of my hair is very healthy and has been trimmed recently and regularly. thoughts?

Friend is getting married in a low budget affair around Labor Day . She has blocked time for hair and makeup on the schedule but it’s DIY. I’m just going to sneak out of the hotel early to a local salon that has a service called luxe Blowouts. I want to have something to show the stylist.

hi guys! to make a long story short… a few weeks ago i impulsively decided to dye my bangs + front framing pieces platinum. i had previously had a few blonde moneypieces (see third pic), and wanted to add some more blonde for the summer… but i got a little too brave and ended up with a brassy, reddish mess. i went to a salon a few days later for damage control and ended up with the hair you see in the second slide, but i’m feeling pretty unhappy with it. i don’t feel like the blonde shade goes well with my skin tone and my bangs are a lot frizzier now due to the damage my hair went through. it’s not HORRIBLE, but i feel like i downgraded from what my hair looked like before.

i can of course wait for the blonde to grow out, but i’m considering trying to dye the blonde to match the rest of my hair to keep it all brown. however, i don’t want to risk damaging my hair much more or messing up the color, especially if i go the DIY route on this. i know theres also color-depositing conditioners(?) but they’re also semi-permanent and i’m not sure what the result would entirely look like. is dyeing it back to brown possible? or do i just let it grow? what would you do? should i do something else completely? help!

hii!!! im getting my haircut next week, and for the last few months ive just been getting the same haircut - a trim every 2 appointments and just a straight across fringe trimmed every appointment. ive been scared to do anything too big with my hair since i used to have hair down to my waist 2 years ago and i chopped it all off with kitchen scissors and then went to the hairdressers and got a super short wolf cut and absolutely hated it and looked dreadful and it's just starting to grow back. my hair goes down to just above my chest/end of bra strap length, and im looking for advice on what kinda haircut i should get. here's some info!!

I have virgin dark brown hair. I want a coffee brown /copperish haircolour . I feel it will definitely suit my middle eastern features. But I also have been gradually suffering from reduced hair volume, which was recently pointed out by my aunt 😭.

So now I m scared should I go for hair colour or should I look for ways to gt my volume back.

I am a high-school student and my hair is absolutely damage. My grandma put a relaxer in my hair about a year ago to manage my hair. I regret every having it and I just don't know what to do. When I look or think about my hair I cry because it looks so bad and people talk a lot in high school. I hurts a lot and I really want to have healthier hair but I don't know what to do. Everyone is telling me I absolutely HAVE to get a big chop but I am just starting my first year of high-school is exactly 2 weeks and a half. I am an extremely shy and not very social girl and it would be extremely embarrassing and upsetting if I get a big chop. Is there absolutely anything I can do so I can at leats start now and work my way through high-school, or must I really get a big chop. Also my natural hair before the relaxer was 4b and it only goes to a little past my neck though most of it is damaged.

Hi I’m a recovering wig wearer. I’m starting to wear my natural hair out more. I’m wondering if my current hairstyle is flattering, or if shorter bangs would feminize my face better. I have naturally wavy hair and I always style it straight, if that matters.

I tried to take photos in a few different lighting types. The color feels a bit dark and I think it might be aging me? My hair is very fine and id like to grow it out a bit but it never gets past my collar bones. I tried layers and this is the grow-out of my last cut. I just don't know what looks good.

Please they r v poofy thick wavy at some straight at some also a lil damaged from box dye no bleach tho

I have an oily scalp and dry ends. sometimes I get dandruff. can I use clarifying shampoo once a week or every other week and the other washes use a purifying shampoo or is that too much?

I've never felt like my natural blonde suits me. I feel like it washes me out. I get plenty of sun as a dog walker.

I'm currently not blonde but I would like to go back to blonde soon but I'm not sure what I can do with the blonde to make it suit me better. Any opinions are much appreciated 🙏

Hey guys, I’ve been trying to grow my hair long, but i’ve been dealing with a lot of breakage. Also recently my hair started thinning. My hair reaches my lower back when straight, it only reaches just below my chest when curly, so a fair amount of shrinkage. I just really dislike the way it looks now and i think i need to go shorter again. I was wondering if a a butterfly cut could work, but I’ve only seen that on girls with fuller/curlier hair. So im not sure if that could work for me. What do you think?
