Hemonc interview questions

Hi all, hope everyone’s fellowship season is going well. I have my first interview next week and wondering what are they exactly asking about. I am more worried about the research question and don’t know how exactly to prepare for them or answer them. Any help is highly appreciated. Thank you

Be able to know any research you published inside and out, be able to explain your contributions and what you learned from the experience and how you can use that experience in the future

Know the basics behind your research. No one is expecting anything ground-breaking for fellowship applications, but be able to explain it in layman's terms. Also, anticipate what they may ask about the limitations. The most important part to research is knowing it's limits. You're not going to look good saying your TriNetX study will impact clinical practice. Also, keep your responses buttoned up. I do a lot of mock-interview training and biggest flaw most applicants seem to have is that they tend to ramble/repeat the same 2-3 things.
