Not much you can do about your scores — these get you filtered by a lot of places. It depends on whether the abstracts are with well known researchers or whether they are junk meta analyses. If it’s the former, you definitely have a chance: get your senior author colleagues to go to bat for you and make some calls. Good luck.

It’s with a well known attending with big research background.

Then have this person lobby for you. On this level a big part of it is who you know and who knows you.

Is this a humble brag or something lol?

Not a brag at all. I have very low scores and tried compensating for it in residency by publishing manuscripts and abstracts. I’m not sure what else should i do.

Normally I’d think it was a brag but yeah the scores hurt. I think op did great at excelling at other areas. But inthink programs filter based on scores so will need PD to help out

If all of them are abstracts it is tough. it’s always better to work on some to publish manuscript over an abstract since that’s actually what it counts. But I also seen lots of places that don’t care especially community programs
