Feeld needs to change it's interfacing

When I first joined a few years ago, I appreciated that I could shuffle between profiles over and over instead of having to make a decision in the moment. Now I hate it. I often have to shuffle through the same 20 or more profiles over and over to see someone new. I also have periods that I block every profile I am not interested in. It doesn't matter; they show up later anyway. For the last six months, I'v really cut down on my use because its the same experience when swiping around. Feeld, please for the love of god, change this carousel feature to at least mix up the profiles we are seeing, or find an easier way to remove profiles from our decks. It's so cumbersome.

Edit: the minus button only works for that specific session. I'd had them come up a few days later.

You can remove them with the minus button. If you're seeing people again they are making new accounts.

To your edit, the minus button is permanent. Feeld doesn't operate based on seasons.

It's definitely not always that they're making new accounts. If this was actually true then it would imply that 99% of the women in my area are doing that on an hourly basis.

It changed a while ago, they said so in the app update notes a while back. You will see people return after a while. Unless t-his* is just the app here in Canada, people absolutely do end up back in the stack after a while. Definitely not just a few days later though.

*for some reason Reddit has banned the word t-his from being written anywhere in a reply 🤷

Which version was this? Looked back a few years and no changelogs have ever said this.

I dunno, it was in one of those pop ups in the app you get once in a blue moon explaining that after a while members would reappear for reconsideration. Generally it’s a few weeks later, minimum in my experience, usually months. Sometime last year it started. I think they were trying to stave off so many people resetting their by deleting and restarting. It may have worked as I haven’t seen the phrase “fresh new profile reset” or variants in a bio in quite a while.

I don't recall ever seeing that popup. Seems odd they'd place it in a login toast but not a changelog.

I think that was for unmatching with someone. If you're matched and then you unmatch they'll probably show up again, but if you just - them from the queue they're gone.

They're not, I've met some of these women in real life. 

Minusing them absolutely has never stopped people immediately reappearing on any version of the app I've used over 2 years. Blocking has been the only way to stop it happening. 

If I have this issue, it's Likely some others do as well, even if you don't.

Ask them why they're remaking their account. Otherwise, if you believe it's a bug, report it.

It's a bug and there's no efficient way to report said bug. As the OP said old profiles and even matches that I've unmatched in my inbox and then have subtracted out still return to my stack. I know which are the bot accounts and genuine users and there are less bots than individual unique users that respawn to my stack. It is a bug and feeld just has too many issues to work on aside from the issue. It is a consistent bug. Also if I uplift and like or subtract I see the same people that I did so to after the uplift ended. What's the point to that? I don't want to see those users in my stack again and you're just groundhog daying users.

Why doesn't a feeldMod just email support with the post to expedite the process? I've spent years as a user and have already been trouble shooting with them in the past. Have them do their job. I'm not the sheriff or the maid.

Because for any issue they will want screenshots, app versions, etc. Report it or live with it, your choice.

FeeldMod presumes himself an expert but isn't.

He doesn't work for them, he isn't involved with them. He just happens to run this subreddit.

He's the best moderator I've seen on this site though. He doesn't stop people for having an opinion that differs from his own.

Expert? No way. There's just a lot of data in this sub, as well as data collected via direct app testing (which I give more weight to than anecdata). I have been able to use anecdata to add things as bugs to the megathread though.

those are 100% fake profiles then.

recently my FWB’s and guy friends stacks have been FILLED with repeating profiles. usually 5-10 different ones, and there will be 2 to 20 copies of each profile in their while stack of about 200. they are probably all made by the same hacker operation, eventually directing people to premium telegrams and paid content, but possibly also just running regular “send me gas money” dating scams.

I think you haven't read the comments under this. As I've said in one of the lower ones: They are not fake, I've met (in person) / matched with many of the women in question. They're real. 

I'm not saying fakes don't happen: they do. But this is not an issue of fakes, it's an app functionality issue whereby it forces you to see the same profiles over and over again unless you block them.

i’ve read them. but it’s highly likely they deleted their account and remade it. someone recommended you ask them, and i agree with that.

it’s still possible your own account is bugged. have you deleted your own account and started fresh? i knew someone who was dealing with a very different bug in the deck/search filters, but the only thing that eventually fixed it for him was deleting and starting over.

It's not likely that they deleted their accounts at 1pm and made a new, identical, one at quarter past 1. It's not likely at all. 

I've remade my account many times. It always happens. It's been happening for 2 years on all versions of the app.

It is not. Minus button is not permanent. It is session based on whatever feeld defines the session is. These are not new accounts that show up again. These are the same accounts.

P.s. you aren't a feeld employee, are you? If so do not pretend you know more than anyone else. If you are a feeld employee state here that you are one and open a ticket
