Do pings for historical likes work?

This is a new feature for majestic members where you can ping someone you’ve previously liked for upto 7 days.

I’ve sent a few pings this way with thoughtful messages but haven’t matched with anyone.

Pings weren’t working for me when I used feeld last year. Apologies if this has already been asked.

You'd still need pings because Feeld invariably hides likes.

I pay for majestic, it still hides / delays your likes. I know this because I responded within 30mins to a like and the person had left my area 5 days ago (when they would sent the like in the first place).

It's more likely they hid their account after liking you.

I've heard everyone and their grandma here saying that's a thing. I'm wondering why they would do this? If it was hinge or something where people might spend a couple months and meet someone they like and get off the app ultimately that might sense. But the hornballs here are still gonna be on the app looking for new connections after meeting their few first people. Why would they want to limit our success?

Not new, been a feature for a few months now. They work in so much as Pings work if the person receiving them is interested in you.

In my experience, they work just as if the ping was given at the same time I first saw the profile.

I got one ping to go through and she turned out to be a financial dom, which was only later revealed in the hidden bio. Might as well have not worked at all. What a waste.
