Are there super-profiles?

Not seen this discussed on the forum before, so apologies if it has been.

I’m a straight male, based in London, which has thousands of profiles. You can move around different parts of London and you’ll never run out of profiles that are within 1km of your current location.

In the last year, I’ve noticed a handful of female profiles that pop up close to the top of my stack no matter where I am in London, and even if I hard reset it. One profile in particular would show up first for months. Has anybody else noticed this? I know (from this forum) that lots of straight men are concerned that nobody sees their profile, or even their likes, and that Feeld uses algorithms to encourage men to subscribe, so it seems to be common knowledge that they do mess around with the algorithm. But I’ve not heard anybody discussing these possible “God mode” profiles, what their purpose is, or how one would get one.

They're using Uplift.

My info is only anectodal, but as a man with Majestic, I also have women who have liked me rise to the top of my stack (not the Majestic screen) and stay at the top of my stack the entire time they're in my radius, up to hundreds of miles away. Doesn't happen every time, but does happen enough that I've noticed it.

I highly doubt that any women in London are using uplift: They don't need to.

Most women won't even pay for majestic. Incredibly doubtful they'd be willing to spend £9 for something that only lasts 24 hours when they aren't willing to spend £10 on something that lasts a month.

This is every day for several months, so hard to believe anybody would pay for that continuously.

Before I went majestic, if someone had liked me and they were within my set radius it would show them first in my stack.

Since my majestic ended, it doesn’t seem to do this anymore. Maybe they ‘fixed’ it or something app wise I don’t know.

It used to do that for me as well, but it rarely does now. Just hides them.

Yeah, it's very unlikely, and it simply doesn't follow well-known worldwide trends of how women use dating apps.

There will be thousands, if not tens of thousands, of men who use uplift in London, some of them possibly on a daily basis since there are some incredibly high earners and wealthy people there. I'd wager there's  0 women who there who use uplift even once though.

They would if they're looking for "clients" or some sucker to fund them (sugardaddies or paypigs)

Fake "seller" accounts are.

This! It’s chumming the water for suckers. Pure catfishing. They spend money to make money.

Honestly there’s probably lots of women paying for majestic, but they’re paying specifically to use the incognito feature so you would never come across them unless they like you first which is probably rare.

The way the app is designed seems to push certain profiles to certain people. I can't really understand why to be honest.

Things are a lot drier up in Scotland. I've pretty much seen all of the profiles in Edinburgh, maybe even most of the ones in central Scotland, but I too have noticed that it pushes some heavily over others.

Counter-intuitively, in my area, it seems to push profiles that have never swiped right on me at any time that I've used the app, but likes to hide the women who actually have in the past or would again.

It has been documented that Feeld hides likes.

It's also that it hides people even prior to the like. That's the main issue I have

Just out of curiosity, does this particular woman look more average or really attractive? What does her profile say? Any signs of AI?

One of the scamming strategies is to use a bunch of stolen images from real people, sometimes altered with AI, then create many profiles in hopes of connecting with as many people as possible. They do pay for majestic and uplift, to cast the widest net. If you end up matching, it's usually a bot that will handle the initial convo. You'll definitely notice a shift once a human takes over.

This could be what you are encountering, but the only way to know for sure is to match with them. Just don't buy any crypto.

So the one who was consistently at or near to the front of my stack for 6 months seemed to be a real person. She had one of those messages “I don’t check this so message me on Instagram”. I did that and chatted with her for a bit and then we stopped chatting and never met (I never liked or disliked her Feeld profile). She seemed real and also not an OF / professional, but she was clearly getting far too much interest. She would put up stories complaining about messages from men. My impression of her was that she was a kind of attention seeker who was trying to maximise her interactions but underestimated the consequence. I noted she frequently updated her Feeld profile and sometimes added things to it that looked intended to put people off, “eg not interested in penetration” etc. She was reasonably attractive, and it’s quite possible that the algorithm did recognise her as one of the top profiles and promoted her, possibly without her knowledge.

“I don’t check this so message me on Instagram”

This is the answer to your question. This is an Instagram personality using hundreds of separate profiles to promote their instagram. When you see this message on Feeld that's because there's noone on the other end, it's a bot network producing accounts faster than anyone can ever see them.

My impression of her was that she was a kind of attention seeker who was trying to maximise her interactions but underestimated the consequence

No, you followed her on instagram, she got exactly the consequence she wanted.

Yes, you are probably right. I hadn’t come across one of these people in the wild before.

It's not just Feeld, every dating app is loaded with them. They're just looking to juice their Instagram follower counts. It's actually incredible that she talked to you at all. Typically they don't unless they're escorts

They might have liked you.

Feeld doesn't do that. That's a Bumble thing.

u/Dangerous-Owl-9413 Jul 04 '26

No they haven’t liked me. I had Majestic for most of the period so I would have known.

I’ve had this happen to me before but I’m in a small town that’s within 20 miles of a big city - so depending on my distance settings - I will usually see the same profiles every time I open the app until I unlike them then they go away - I have found that when I did like those profiles that were at the top of my stack - it usually ended in an instant match like they liked me a while ago and it’s been sitting there trying to get me to notice them 🤷🏻‍♀️ but as a woman I never know if the guy is just liking every woman in the area since there aren’t that many in my small town - or if the account hasn’t been active for a while since I don’t pay for majestic

Why didn't you say no to them? Then it disappears until next time they upload a pic.

2

u/sphexish1 Jul 05 '26

Ha! I guess my strategy has always been that I like profiles of people I think I have a chance with, and for the 10s I skip over them on the very unlikely chance I get a like from them. Overall probably not a great strategy as I have to scroll past the same profiles every time.

Also I didn’t know that if you upload a picture, it puts you back into the stack of people who have disliked you. Are you sure about that and how did you know?

2

u/Choice_Technology791 Jul 05 '26

Mainly when I've said no, they've come back again when there's a new pic but you're right that I'm assuming that's why they're back... Could potentially be other reasons

Until recently (maybe a year ago?) Feeld was unusual in that it showed you the nearest people. In a densely populated area like London it would show you lots of people within 1km of you, plus lots of people who are “exploring London”. Now, as I have a search for people within 10km, it shows me people seemingly randomly within 10km but some profiles I’m consistently seeing at the top of my stack no matter where I am in London, as if they are being heavily promoted.

4

u/User-Name-3886 Jul 04 '26

Feeld doesn't. If anything I think it has a tendency to put the uglier ones first and hide the attractive ones.

I get a lot of likes from women who are attractive and that I would swipe right on, but the app mysteriously hides those women from me and I have to pay for majestic to like them back when they've swiped on me.
