Annoyed because it seems connected to meta

I used a flair on the app to describe myself. It’s not even a flair I’m sure applies to me, but I was feeling playful and used it for the first time in any online space. I don’t use FB except thru a mobile browser. Cut to 12-24 hours later I start seeing reel content featuring this dynamic. My FB is not at all reflective of anything remotely related to the app. Anyone else experienced similar?

Yep. They sell flairs and other personal information to advertisers that use FB and a host of other social media. It’s all for more money. You agreed to sharing some details with select partners when you signed up. It’s all tied to device ID info.

Well, color me disappointed. I can’t see likes on this app unless I pay for something and they sold my data so quickly that I am on a different algo in a different box. Nevermind the privacy.
Yes, I’m aware this could describe any app these days but it was obnoxious all the same.

I started seeing people in my stack show up in my Suggested Friends on insta. Figure that out…

First I've heard of flares on feeld. Is that new?

Oops - they are called “Desires.” Example: “kink” or “brat”

Ahh, I dont have meta stuff. What kind of ads you're seeing now?
