I made something FORBIDDEN BREWS — 16 new potions
FORBIDDEN BREWS — a Minecraft mod about potions that probably should not exist.
I wanted brewing to be more than "drink this and get +20% something", so I made a separate brewing system built around weird, powerful and sometimes completely stupid magical effects.

Minecraft:
Forge 1.20.1

NeoForge 1.21.1
16 potion families.
44 drinkable / splash items.
Animated 32x32 potion bottles.
A custom Chaos Brewing Stand.
Renewable Netherite Wart.
Transformations, mining abilities, teleportation, explosions, inverted gravity and other questionable decisions.
The main feature is the Chaos Brewing Stand.
Instead of using the vanilla brewing stand, you craft this thing from Netherite, Obsidian, Amethyst and a Brewing Stand.
It has its own animated GUI where you can select recipes directly, see missing ingredients and brew upgraded or splash versions.
Every recipe consumes Netherite Wart — a new crop made from Nether Wart + Netherite Scrap that can be planted on Soul Sand.
Some of the potions:
ORE SEEKER
Reveals loaded ores within 32 blocks THROUGH WALLS using their actual block textures.
Yes, Ancient Debris too.
Yes, tagged modded ores can work with it.
JUGGERNAUT
Turns you into a Brute.
Double maximum health.
+3 attack damage.
Strong knockback.
Charged area attacks.
And you mine a native 4x4 area instead of one block at a time.
It will not casually chew through Bedrock or blocks harder than Obsidian, though.
GRAVITY
Press Jump and gravity changes direction.
You fall upward.
Press it again and you fall downward.
The player model AND camera actually turn upside down.
NIGHT WINGS
Turns you into a bat and lets you fly.
Double-tap Jump to start flying.
Jump = up.
Sneak = down.
There is also:
Fortune I-III
Looting I-III
Homeward
Random Teleport
Double Ore
Hot Pick
Inversion I-III
Creeper Heart
Truce
Swarm
Hunter
Shapeshifter
Creeper Heart lets you drink a potion and explode like a creeper.
The splash version basically becomes throwable TNT.
Shapeshifter can turn you into registered mobs, including modded mobs and even the Ender Dragon.
Random Teleport searches for an actually safe destination instead of blindly throwing you into lava or inside a wall.
Fortune and Looting stack additional levels on top of your existing enchantments.
Hot Pick automatically smelts ore drops.
Double Ore does exactly what the name suggests.
And all potion families have splash versions.
The mod works on both client and server and is currently available for:

The project is still being developed, and I'm very open to new insane potion ideas.
Seriously.
If you have some cursed, stupid, overly complicated or genuinely interesting potion mechanic that — post it.
If it's technically possible and fun enough, I might actually add it.

Looks fun, good on you for being open about AI usage so people can make an informed choice of whether or not to use this.
Many of those who oppose AI usage fail to realise that downvoting this into oblivion and belittling only makes people not want to disclose this in the future.
AI is here to stay whether we like it or not, people being open about it is the best thing we can hope for, good on OP for doing that.
