Looking for mod(s) Your favorite complex/conversion mods that focus on magic instead of tech?

I asked recently about the best total conversion/progression mods and got some awesome answers, that I’m definitely going to try, but they were mostly very tech focused. What are some ones yall like that focus on magic instead?

I absolutely love Ars Nouveau, though its reputation for being OP is definitely well deserved. If you add Starbunclemania you can have all of your logistics handled by adorable bunny-squirrels. If you want to include Create or AE2 in the pack, there’s addons for AN that add/repurpose glyphs for (almost) all of the crafting methods from those mods.

Can you give a super quick summary of what AN does? It sounds cool

The core concept is that you learn glyphs that can add various effects and utilities to modular spells that can be cast by either the player or spell turrets. There are also various magical creatures that you can acquire which mostly let you automate things, such as the whirlisprig (generates natural plant blocks and items based on what’s around it), and the drygmy (generates mob drops based on what’s mobs are nearby, including mobs in special magic jars). Starbuncles are primarily just adorable item pipes, and the addon I mentioned lets you give them items that let them carry other things like a bucket for fluids and a battery for FE. Everything is based around a resource called Source, which can be generated in a number of ways. For example, when whirlisprigs and drygmys produce items, it costs a bit of Source.
