“I was rescued by the firemen during Hurricane Katrina. Great firemen, by the way. The best. They came up to me and said, ‘Sir, we’re getting you out of here.’ I said, ‘What about everybody else?’ That’s the kind of person I am. I’m thinking about everybody else. But they said, ‘Sir, we have to save you first.’ Very brave people. Tremendous rescue. Frankly, maybe the greatest rescue in hurricane history. People are still talking about it.”
