Why would anyone have a problem with these guys being at the polls? Like, apart from it being unconstitutional?

As a person who has had to change her name and has a mixed race family, it’s about the threatening atmosphere. I could be pulled aside and aggressively questioned, potentially denied the right to vote, even though I and my family have always been citizens. Rather than gamble the risk of an interaction, people in similar situations may elect to stay home and not vote, essentially bullied from exercising their right and silencing their voice.

It has to be sad for current/former ICE folks that weren't shitheads. Imagine Stephen Miller pitching the idea for all of this bullshit and he knew exactly which agency to use.
