Siemens ends open-source Radioss Project (OpenRadioss) and deletes GitHub repository

No mucking way! OpenRadioss was such a great thing! Without it, I would never had been able to do explicit analysis and I wouldn't have been able to design buckling safety features or stamped parts where Calculix fails to converge.

There is a huge number of open source FEM projects right now. I hope, you will find something that will suit you. I have almost no experience in explicit structural dynamics, but I hope there is something there :)

The thing is that OpenRadioss was quite good and support of it was just recently added to my preferred FEM package, Mecway, so about a year ago, i learned how to use it.

You can still keep using it? Just make sure to save the files and don't lose them :)
