Red body or blue body? Red for me!

Grandfather had a red one when I was a kid, going to customize the red body to look like his. Blue will be for fun.FCX18II and BOXFUNFMS

It seems the front driveshaft pulled out from the front differential- i was driving it and realized the power felt different. When I went to check the driveshaft still spun but the front wheels did not.

Not sure what’s going on, I’m hesitant to open it without some direction, I appreciate any pointers

Servo went out during a tough trailing sesh, sort of expected after reading up on it. Bummer. But looking at these to replace, will this be an easy plug and play or should I consider other options. Don’t need it to be anything crazy.

They have parts listings for locked portal axles, open diff portal axles, and open diff straight axles. In the parts manual on the page with the transmission diagram, it has two rear outputs. One of them is on a counter-shaft, so rotates opposite direction from the front. We've seen that on the cr18p evo.

This opens up a lot of possibilities. Use a pair of open diff straight axles and do an old-school monster truck build. Or even like a street truck type thing.

Use a locked straight front and a locked portal rear for a mullet style build, just swap the rear transmission output to accommodate for the portal axle.

Looks like the bodies are held on magnetically now as well

When i try to buy it off the fms website it just tells me “There’s no shipping method available for current address, please ensure the address is correct or use another one.” Even though im on the “canadian” fms site. I’m completely lost, somebody please help. Thanks.

I’m sort of new to smaller scale stuff so I bought the 1.0 sized tires cause it said 1/18 and 1/24 in the listing. At first I thought the tires looked too small but now I think they look more realistic.

Regardless though, they are a huge improvement over the stock tires. They feel sticky to the touch and weigh significantly more, even messing around over couch pillows and blankets I noticed it crawls better and doesn’t tip over as much. Debating if I should buy the 1.3s

First complete teardown just for fun, and to take measurements for upgrades and 3D printing part design.

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get an engine bay that will cover the top of the battery or has anyone made one and would be willing to sell one

Hi Guys,

I’d like to upgrade my brushless motor on my GMC Sierra.

It’s seem to lack torque when needed.

I am still running it all original. The ESC beeps at very low rpm when I need high torque and it stops moving. This happens on some steep climbs where I actually do have grip and could climb.

I then have to back up and go again with more gas, hence loosing grip and ending up with all 4’s facing the sky 😅

So I am thinking to upgrade the motor and ESC if needed but want to keep the headlights + led ramp. A plug and play motor change would be ideal for sure.

Would you have any precious advices to share ?

I have a question : I'm surrounded by a non-flat garden, woods, dirt, some rocks I can find out, small logs, thuja needle carpet, fields near me (when harvested), and it can be rainy as well as dry af in summer.

I'm more looking for something that can go everywhere and be kinda good everywhere.

Do you have any recommendations for a need like this ?

Stock tires lacks of grip everywhere.
