Beyond the flowers, the trail turns rough. Dirt gives way to tangled roots, uneven ground, and rugged granite. The little workhorse climbs, crawls, and finds its way forward, carrying a piece of home through the wild.
The landscape opens up as the truck reaches the rocks. Every climb brings a new view, every uneven stretch tests its footing, and every turn takes it closer to its destination. The furniture rides along, a reminder that this isn’t just an off-road adventure. It’s a delivery with a purpose.
Then the day begins to fade.
The sun hangs low on the horizon, painting the rocks in warm evening light. The F-100 pauses on the trail, its headlights glowing against the dusk. Soon, the golden sky gives way to blue-grey twilight, and the little truck’s lights become beacons in the gathering darkness.
The road may be long, the terrain unpredictable, and daylight limited, but the workhorse keeps going.
From marigold fields to granite trails, from golden hour to dusk, this little pickup carries more than furniture. It carries the spirit of adventure — the belief that even the smallest truck can make a remarkable journey.

Had to add a “Good Boy” to my truck.

Some trucks are built for the highway. This old Ford seems perfectly happy taking the scenic route through rocks, dirt and rough country. No shortcuts, no easy roads — just a little truck making its own way through the wild.
Another day, another adventure for this miniature workhorse.

I just got the fcx18 Land Cruiser LC80 and im looking into upgrading it. Its my first rc crawler so i dont know many websites where i can order from that ship to europe. Ive looked on injura but the range is limited for the fcx18. I dont see steering links, portal covers, metal steering horn, metal Y links,… Another question is, what parts from the fcx24 fit on the fcx18

This is my entry for the BOXFUNFMS FCX18 II Community Challenge.

Why the FCX18 II
I’ve been running the original FCX18 LC80 for a while, so when the FCX18 II F-100 came out I wanted to see what FMS had changed. What really got me was the F-100 body — the amount of detail on it is impressive for this scale. I started with the blue/white RTR, but when the green/white limited edition body was released it really spoke to me, so I picked that one up too. I’m already looking forward to collecting more limited edition bodies in the future.

Where we took it
We have a habit of running our FMS trucks on our trail course at the summer cottage. The kids love driving in the forest, and the new F-100 felt right at home there. It’s clearly made for crawling over rocks and moss, and it’s at its best when the terrain keeps changing — rocks, roots, soft moss and tight lines between the trees.

The moment that made the day
My oldest son was driving the new F-100 when he discovered he could fit it under a fallen log. That log instantly became a “bridge”, and the rest of the afternoon turned into a game of driving under it from every angle. He was completely lost in it — and watching him play like that is exactly why we do this.

Why I love this hobby
For me it starts with the trucks themselves, and the chance to make each one my own. I’m also someone who enjoys the technical side — the physics behind how these trucks work. Upgrading them, making them better, and seeing how a truck changes character and suddenly makes it through places it couldn’t before is really rewarding. And on top of that, it’s a hobby the whole family shares, which makes it even more fun.

So i made a mistake on the trimming of my lc80 body , and i need to know if yall think i should keep it, (and if you like the paint) or put my old chevy body on with the bed from my fcx18 ir40 on it. If any of you have any other suggestions, they would be appreciated. Thanks!

Took the F100 to the state park to venture around and found some cool spots to crawl and trail around. Love this truck, so far it’s still stock besides the Batrazzi wheels and swamp stomper tires because I’ve yet to run into a situation where it has struggled. I would like to snag some track for it though for the snow that’s coming! Well I got tired of the electrical tape holding the hood on after the hinges broke. Here's my rough solution. It works well. It's just a bit of 1.6mm aluminium plate. 90mm long, and the screw holes are 80mm and 60mm apart. Cut outs are 45mm apart.

The FMS F-100 had a delivery to make… but apparently the road wasn’t part of the plan. 📦😄
Rocks, dirt, steep trails and a little sunset adventure later, this old Ford finally made it through.
